Poetic Verses
Abyss
So herein lies the point
Where all just goes amiss
A disconnected joint
Crumbling to abyss
On and on it goes
The world still does turn
As frustration grows
And temperament to burn
They never understand
The ache inside the soul
A line drawn in the sand
Or things that make one whole
What seems to some a joke
Or pure and simple folly
The one takes up the yoke
As the other is so jolly
A chasm deep and dark
The alliance divided
From whence they did embark
Consequence now decided
