May the Lord answer you,
When you are in trouble;
Be able to construe,
To help through the rubble.
May He send you the aid,
May He give you support;
Take courage not afraid,
He will give you comfort.
He always will detect,
Accept your sacrifice;
As long as you reject,
The things that may entice.
Have longing in your heart,
That He grants desire;
That your mind will impart,
What He will require.
May all of your plans pass,
All your counsel fulfill;
The Word reaches the mass,
For people to instill.
Then we will shout for joy,
Over your victory;
Ensure that you employ,
Of the great mystery.
We will rejoice His name,
And grant all your requests;
Continue to proclaim,
That each of us attests.
I am sure that the Lord,
Will deliver the King;
So be in one accord,
As you joyously sing.
He will step in for you,
Advocate in Heaven;
Defending what is true,
With passion, be given.
Some trust in trucks and cars,
But depend on the Lord,
Who made heavenly stars,
Should never be ignored.
They will be falling down,
We will be standing strong;
Never to wear a frown,
This is where we belong.
