Poetic-Verses

'' We'd Find Another Excuse ''

I met a guy,
Called, politically correct,
I don't know why,
But I couldn't connect.

He tried to dictate,
What's right and what's wrong,
About love and hate,
He said he was strong.

Take black and white,
Though opposites at heart,
Colour causing a fight,
Is not very smart.

Forget colour or creed,
We are sisters and brothers,
I said take heed,
Sometimes truth smothers.

Religion does say,
You must love them all,
When I said no way,
It did not enthral.

He was on the attack,
Thou shalt not kill,
It's reality you lack,
Even god has that will.

To forgive and forget,
Is his ultimate aim,
This will make you fret,
When it's you they defame.

He forcefully insisted,
His way was true,
Although I resisted,
Him I could not subdue.

When I pointed out,
Individuals have views,
He said, that I doubt,
This did not enthuse.

The equality we require,
Is top of his list,
Though his view I admire,
It will never exist.

I told him the truth,
As a species we're sleazy,
Extremely uncouth,
We find loathing easy.

If we discovered the cure,
For all Human abuse,
I said, you can be sure,
