See The You I See

If only you, could see you through my eyes,
Then what I'm saying wouldn't be a surprise.
You're amazing, how beautiful you are.
I see your light, brighter than any star.
There's so much love there; looking back at me.
You would see how perfect you really are.
If  you could only see the you I see.
I see your power, strength unknown to you.
You can't hide it, your light keeps bursting through.
See it all, who I see when you look at me.
You would see just how wonderful you are.
If you could only see the you I see.
You would see how to me you are a light,
A lone candle lighting the darkest night.
A guide kindly pointing me the way through.
When I am lost I can always turn to you.
You have a way of making me understand.
Give encouragement, remind me who I am.
If you saw the you, I see looking at me.
Then you would understand what I say is true.
If you could see you, the way that I do.
Your magnificence, your beauty, your bright light.
Your power, kindness, what a wonderful sight.
Your abilities, you love, your heart so kind,
Your brilliance, intelligence there in your mind.
Your loyalty friendship, always being there.
You listen, with your heart, you show you care.
I pray you one day will see you the way I do.
So you can see all the things I see in you.
