The One who created you;
Stated not to be afraid;
As He helps you to construe,
While He gives you His aid.
He is there for protection,
When you are calling His name;
Giving you His affection,
When enabled to proclaim.
When you pass through the waters,
He will always be with you;
Protecting sons and daughters,
For He is faithful and true.
A raging flood from the streams;
Or the flames of a fire;
No damage as seen in dreams,
From spiritual desire.
For He is the Lord your God,
Redeemer and Holy One;
That you should honor and laud,
For all of which He has done.
He handed a ransom price,
To Egypt in place of you;
Although this world does entice,
God still comes to the rescue.
Since you are precious to Him,
And the apple of His eye;
He wants not you to be grim,
Hear any whimper or cry.
He renders foes in your place,
Nations in place of your life;
Shine favor and give you grace,
In peace and having less strife.
Fear not for He is with you,
He will bring seed from the east;
Helping in seeing you through,
To have an abundant feast.
Hand them over, hold not back,
Bring sons from the distant lands;
Along with daughters you lack,
Making fertile barren sands.
Everyone who belongs,
For His glory that was made;
Are forgiven of the wrongs,
Needing not to be afraid
