looking back
your only breaks
are promises
broken
the bitter truth
rammed down
your throat
your not afraid
the slaughter
continues
another day
that’s pushing
black
you’ve seen the
worst
it’s what your

you still get
hurt
you can’t give
up
won’t shout
surrender
the road your

goes nowhere
new
the words she

but nothing
spoken
another death
attributed
to you
your sky is
dark
without a
reason
your not
concerned
your friends
are few
the life you
have
is overrated
a rainbow’s
born
each time
you lose
you tip the
scales
in the wrong
direction

heart

used
your better
times

remember
the past you
hide
is haunting

mattered
were left
behind
