Remind people of the things,
Charging them before the Lord;
Wrangle not on what it brings,
Rather be in one accord.
It is of no benefit,
Rather just brings to neglect;
Disaster to your merit,
Causing many to reject.
Make an effort to present,
God by not being ashamed;
Teaching truth not to resent,
Drudgery what is proclaimed.
Be accurate in the truth,
Avoid the profane chatter;
Never as rude or uncouth,
Causing the mass to scatter.
Entice them all not to stray,
Further into ungodliness;
Showing them how to obey,
For receiving blessedness.
Evil can spread like a disease,
Infection like a gangrene;
No matter how many pleas,
Must amputate where turned green.
Gangrene is like the devil,
That is spreading like fake news;
And that will slowly reveal,
Of the wrong path that you choose.
Those who are His, the Lord knows,
When confessing in His name;
Turns away when evil shows,
By extinguishing its flame.
In the home silver and gold,
Vessels in use by the rich;
As with clay and wood they mold,
Perfectly without a niche.
Keep away from youth passions,
Pursue righteousness and love;
Avoid lifestyle fashions,
Not pure hearted from above.
Correct opponents gently,
Avoid in being uncouth;
Accurate and intently;
Speaking knowledge of the truth.
