All that I love in truth,
But also, all who know;
Not as rude or uncouth,
Of others that would show.
Because the truth abides,
And with us forever;
For it is truth that guides,
As it will not sever.
For grace, mercy, and peace,
Is through the truth and love;
Through blessings not to cease,
From the Father above.
So, I greatly rejoice,
With walking in the truth;
As I raise up my voice,
Long since my early youth.
I write not new commands,
As the same since the start;
What the Father demands,
Having love in your heart.
We love one another,
Continuing to walk;
With sister and brother,
Showing care as you talk.
For many deceivers,
Have gone out from this place;
Talking as believers;
But a sinful disgrace.
Watch yourself so you may,
See through their disguise;
And do not lead astray,
But by remaining wise.
So, you will see the Lord,
Remembering as taught;
So, you get your reward,
From the price you were bought.
If someone comes to you,
And not able to teach;
Inform them what is true,
Comforting as you preach.
Whoever greets that strays,
Having blasphemous words;
Point out the wicked ways,
Taught by evil wizards.
