 This  Battles  Not  Mine
Standing  in  the  shadow,  his  massive  Image  casts
Lies,  accusations,  death  threats  pierce  the  air
Streams  of  venom  spewed,  with  every  fiery   breath
Hatred  Unparallelled,  will  this  Armour  stand  the  test?

The  helmet  of  salvation,  firmly  on  my  head,  breast
Plate  of   Righteousness,  strapped  about  my  chest
The  sword  of  the  spirit,  grasp  firmly  in  my  hand
I  gaze  into  the  burning  eyes,  of  this  massive  Philistine

I  bow  my  head  give  thanks,  for  the  preparation  of  the
Gospel,  that  is  shod  upon  my  feet,  I  lift  my  eyes  toward
Heaven,  for  the  battle's  not  really  mine,  I  commend  my  life  my
All,  into  my  Father's  hands,  victory  won,  before  the battle began.
