Morning Song

A cool and misty dawn shines light upon my lawn.
In the distance forms a thick impenetrable fog
Rising from the restless bog
Hours move so slow when the curtain drapes the land
A searching light is in the glen, shinning in the soul of men.
Walk softly toe to heal, and know the power of the day
When the fog suddenly lifts away.
Blue sky holds eagles in their flight a single feather falls
To earth drifting down  from high above, remnants  of
Wildland love.
Healing in a moments glance when light reveals the
Dawn's first rays, and melts the moments of disarray
Song of the morning begins my day.
