Food Allergies

Can BE
FATAL
For
--^^^SOMEs^^^--
As my grand-Daughters
Salmon and COD fish
NOTED--^^^Allergies^^^--
We know she cannot have Salmon or COD fish
Happies and--^^^FREEs^^^---
But TUNA she always --^^^HAD^^^--
But last night she Had--Allergic
REACTION
And she was so
--^^^SAD^^^--
We had the--^^^EPI-PEN^^^--
In hand, and READY-STEADY
But her symptoms stayed the same with slight swelling on the
TIp of her >>>TONGUE>>>
And no visible marks of other swellings rash noted
ANYWHERE
--^^^THEN^^^--
Then three hours latter
Benadryl
Was --^^^given^^^--
And Completely an hour latter
The swelling of ->>>>>>>TONGUE<<<<<<<-
Evaporated
Completely --^^^THEN^^^--
So on the couch she RESTED--and--Fell
--^^^ASLEEP^^^--
And GRAMPS
Was on DUTY
And she rested well
With SLEEP
--^^^DEEP^^^--
With allergies its very
SERIOUS
And families must be--^^^AWARE^^^--
And be cautious MINDFUL
And always Prepared standing by to stand BY
For--EMERGENCY
Allergic-Reaction
--^^^C-A-R-E^^^--
So it was a--SCARE
And now all --FISH--and--TUNA-added
To
List-- with --SALMON
And
COD
We have to
Stand--SAFETY
--^^^C-L-E-A-R^^^--
As an allergic Reaction
Is--the--^^^FEAR^^^--
Kids don't UNDERSTAND
The dangers of an Allergic
reaction on --^^^HAND^^^--
But now my grand daughter
Knows that we all have an--EMERGENCY
Allergic--Reaction
--^^^PLAN^^^--
So hopefully.in
--^^^TIME^^^--
All FISH in a PAN
ONE
DAY
Sooner than latter
She can
EAT
And I will WRITE
A--Happy FISH
FRY--^^^RHYME^^^--
