Yesterday CRYING she called me on the PHONE

Yesterday CRYING
                     CRYING
                         And
                             CRYING
She called me on the--Tela-PHONE

My Gand-Daughter
Little-BELLA
She felt so hurt lonely and
ALONE

She was CRYING
Louder and louder
When she heard my
VOICE

She had no BELLA
Sweet, Silly. sophisticated
Or
SASSINESS
Fun happiness
Or
REJOICE

She said GRAND-PA
I need you
When are you coming to my
H-O-M-E

I felt so bad
That she was feeling
So
Lost and four years old
ALONE

I told her I will be there with
You very Soon
In a few TOMORROWS

But that did not heal her brokeness and
CRYIING
S-O-R-R-O-W-S

So after about another hour or
TWO

She felt much better
And she was her same old same old
S-W-E-E-T
   S--I--L--L--Y
      S---O---P---H---I---S---T---I---C---A---T---E---D
S----A----S----S----Y
Little BELLA
GIRL
Toooooooo

I think she had a dream
My daughter said
When she awoke from a nap
And her GRAMPS
Was not there to hold her and be silly
With Fun
And she felt
So LOW

And then
Her tears when she called me
And HEARD
My VOICE
Would not stop her
Crying FLOW

This little-- BELLARINA
She is such of a
Pure
Delight
BLESSING and
JOY

When we are together
And both of us
Are ---G---O---O---F---I---N---G---around being
SWEET
   SILLY
      SOPHISTICATED
         And
            SASSY
It makes this ole GRAMPS
Feel
As Energized
And as fun-Loving
As when I was
A
MINNESOTA
G--------O--------O--------F--------Y
BOY
