Still Waters (A short prayer for peace)

Lead me oh Lord to waters still
Lay me softly on grassy hills
My life journey so weary and long
My soul Is week and my strength has gone
The desire to press still burns within
The charge to stay the courses end
The tempest about has risen so
The waves are high and visibility low
My compass fixed on the cross
My way is set I won't be lost
I walk by faith, no need to see
Let the storm rage Lord, just calm me
Lead me oh Lord to still waters within
Calm my spirit once again
Like a child on daddy's knee
Allow your word to comfort me
Set me on my feet anew
So I can go out and perform for you
