God loathes the way of the wicked,
But loves who pursue righteousness;
Confessing gets them acquitted,
And are assured His blessedness.
Severe discipline is for you,
If you have abandoned the way;
And will die if you are not true,
Because you continue to stray.
Death and destruction feel His wrath,
How much more the hearts of humans;
That will be straying off the path,
By following evil omens.
The scorner will never show love,
Neither will he go to the wise;
Because of hardened hearts thereof,
Righteous wisdom he will despise.
A joyful heart will make a face,
Cheerful and carry a smile;
A painful heart is a disgrace,
When causing them to beguile.
The discerning heart seeks wisdom,
But foolish lips feeds on folly;
For he will never see freedom,
Having thoughts of melancholy.
Those who are afflicted are sad,
But a glad heart attends a feast;
Avoids from doing something bad,
While waiting for the High Priest.
Best to have a fear of the Lord,
Than turmoil and a great wealth;
For remaining in one accord,
Giving you good spiritual health.
Folly is a joy who would lack sense,
But wisdom for who walks upright;
Because the Lord is your defense,
When you are using His insight.
