Winter's Nigh

Autumn wind moves through the glen, dancing in the leaves embracing forest trees.
Northern air heals in a prayerful lenitive breath, a fading warmth.
All will show so fast, in winters icy death, now comes the end of solitude in blizzards mighty blast.
Twisted ice and peaceful days are scattered in a snow wall maze.
A full panel of frozen gear are dressed in song of Arctic shears, frozen in winter's tears
Come close to see the eyes of winter moonlit sky, and watch the wind step on high
When winters solace chill and thrill draws nigh
Autumn wind has long gone by when Summer's light sadly dies
Gaze into winds cold placid eyes.
Where sleeping roses lay in snow cast display.
