Death is Only

 

Death is only one step higher
one step closer, one step nearer
to God..

Death will always be death
loved ones shall always
remain close on the other
side, to help us with sorrow
that fills our hearts..

Forgetting is never to
forget the ones you loved
that shall still remain
alive when there thought
about each day..

Death will make tears
fall, not in vain, only
love shall keep the one
you loved, dearly alive..

You have not lost, you have
gained, for they have made
you happy on the path you
have walked..

They have taught you more
they have loved you more
they have given of themselves..
