What does the worker to gain,
Resulting from his struggles;
All the toil and pain,
The brisk schedule he juggles.
I have seen the task God gave,
So, they are kept occupied;
Leading to an early grave,
Nothing gained before they died.
But all proper in its time,
Eternity in the heart;
Living a life that they climb,
Thinking of what to impart.
I know of nothing better,
For to enjoy and rejoice;
Following to the letter,
Making it being your choice.
It is the God-given gift,
That someone would eat and drink;
Letting his efforts uplift,
With taking the time to think.
What God does lasts forever,
No adding or taken of;
Creative work as clever,
Showing compassion and love.
God works so we be in awe,
What is has already been;
For God does repeat His call,
Of what is seen or unseen.
I observed under the sun,
The judgment of wickedness;
Where righteousness has begun,
Glory shines its blessedness.
For God will judge the fiendish,
For the evil they have done;
The conceited and selfish,
Ensuring that He will shun.
We shall all return to dust,
Served purpose for the Lord;
But eternal if we trust,
Letting Him not be ignored.
