 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove

I thank God to whom I serve,

To do with a clear conscience;

Boldly proclaim with the nerve,

For having the confidence.

Remembering you in prayer,

And praying both night and day;

My thoughts with God that I share,

How much you trust and obey.

As I remember your tears,

I long to see filled with joy;

And that subsiding the fears,

That could easily destroy.

A sincere faith I recall,

A faith as in your mother;

A faith has caused to befall,

In your sister and brother.

Certainly, it dwells in you,

Remember to fan the flame;

Blazing knowing what is true,

The gift from God to proclaim.

For God gave us a spirit,

Of His love and self-control;

A power we inherit,

For dwelling in our soul.

Regret not to testify,

About Jesus our Lord;

And never try to deny,

Or let Jesus be ignored;

Always share in the suffering,

For the Gospel gives power;

As it allows buffering,

When the fear makes you cower.

Who saved and called upon us,

Enter a holy calling;

Because of the works as thus,

Having been so enthralling.

We were decreed as teachers,

Of His own purpose and grace;

For proclaiming as preachers,

Convince others to embrace.

So, I suffer as I do,

But I cannot be ashamed;

Telling my belief to you,

And keeping my faith inflamed.
