For Barney

Light House

Dreams for Haiti

full moon night

Who Speaks for the child?

Of memory

silver gray near

Toni

Light jacket

spark

dawn soundless

mother

You on a summer day

when miles begin again

wait for effortless calm

in memory too

It came sturdy wisdom

Deeply into blessing

The price of Sun

the deep roar of joy

outside of water blues

For my Father upon the departing of Mother

seasons catch age compelling deliberation

Listen closely

star milking light

this side of the moon

Winter eyes vacant

Photographs of you

Flooding memory

Mother

we must speak tomorrow

Tears not far from cold
