Sing loud O daughter of Zion,
Rejoice and exult with your heart;
Shouting to roar like a lion,
Praising the Father to impart.
For the Lord has taken away,
All of the judgments against you;
He has stopped foes who make you stray,
That kept you from becoming true.
The King of Zion in your grip,
And shall never fear the devil;
The Lord ensures you not to trip,
Falling in the midst of evil.
For on that day it shall be said,
Fear not, letting your hands grow weak;
As your faith ensures you are fed,
About the answers that you seek.
Remember what you have been told,
Fearing not to take up the slack;
For what the future may unfold,
See that the Lord watches your back.
The Lord your God is in your midst,
The mighty warrior who saves;
Although some people have kibitzed,
He forgives you what made you slaves.
He will rejoice having gladness,
And will quiet you by His love;
Exulting to stop your sadness,
From His throne in Heaven above.
He will joy of you with singing,
In His love enabled to rest;
For the blessings it is bringing,
Being able to do your best.
He will gather those who do mourn,
No longer to suffer reproach;
A feeling like a new born,
Because the Lord will be your coach.
Upon that time the Lord will deal,
With any of your oppressors;
He will comfort to make you feel,
Confidence against aggressors.
