My Friend, My Husband
I know that not anyone
Can take your place;
Without you now
Many things I must face.
My friend, my husband
You were all to me;
No longer are you in pain
For now you are set free!
I hated to see you suffer
To feel your anguish and pain;
For you could no longer walk
With your walker or cane.
You would have loved the service
For family and friends were there;
Sharing of good ole memories
Paying their respects and they care.
You will always be in my heart
You showed me you cared;
For I cherish the memories
All the times we shared.
I love you now
And forever more;
One day, I will be with you
When I walk through Heavens door.
Can take your place;
Without you now
Many things I must face.
My friend, my husband
You were all to me;
No longer are you in pain
For now you are set free!
I hated to see you suffer
To feel your anguish and pain;
For you could no longer walk
With your walker or cane.
You would have loved the service
For family and friends were there;
Sharing of good ole memories
Paying their respects and they care.
You will always be in my heart
You showed me you cared;
For I cherish the memories
All the times we shared.
I love you now
And forever more;
One day, I will be with you
When I walk through Heavens door.
