 JANET'S PLANET

Orange Leaf Tree

A gift you are orange leaf tree.

I look forward to seeing your orange leaves in the Autumn season.

Most of your leaves have fallen I see.

Of course there is a reason.

It is now time for you to retire.

You have graced me with your beauty.

Your beautiful orange leaves I admire.

You have performed your duty.

All kinds of weather you will face.

You will stand alone, sturdy, and truly bold.

Your orange leaves will disappear without a trace.

As you make way for Winter's snow and freezing cold.

Orange leaves will arrive again in the Autumn season.

Your leaves had to go away.

There was a good reason.

I will gaze at your stunning leaves each and every day.
