“Revenge”

She had been
spending
all of her
free time
thinking only of
revenge,
any unattached
thoughts she had
were quickly shoved
in to line
to work on
getting her to
her only present
goal in life
inflicting the same
amount of pain
in to his world
that she has
been clawing through
in hers,
going to sleep
every night
with her mind
wide awake
always working
on the plan
waking up to
subconscious
thoughts
that in the
morning light
start to come
together
breaking them
back down
then rebuilding
them again
as she stirs
the creamer
into her coffee
honing
and shaping them
in the dead
silence
of her car
as she drives
to work,
shifting to her
functioning side
when she pulls
up and parks
then toggling
back to her
dark side
any time
a spare moment
was found,
pouring in as
many resources
as her mind
would absorb
patiently waiting
till this slow
steady grind
cranks out
the perfect strategy
to quench this
undying thirst
that has her
firmly in it’s
grasp,
a Hate so
intense
it has burrowed
so deep into
her brain
it leaves a
hole
running through
every thought
she has
nothing escapes
it’s gnawing
teeth
eating into
every facet  of
her life,
she blankly stares
at a book
her hand
turning pages
filled with words
she wasn’t really
reading
the wheels always
turning
calculations
being corrected
blueprints being
drafted
with every word
she glosses over
she’s that much
closer
to her climax,
it was in
chapter 15
page 297
when a wicked
smile
took over her
face
her evil intentions
had come to
a boil
the missing bracket
in her equation
was now complete,
tonight she’ll sleep
a deep
restful sleep
tomorrow
as his world
dies around him
he’ll come to
learn
what she already
knew,
he f----d with
the wrong woman…
