The Minnesota Field CORN

In Early
JUNE
The
Minnesota
FIELD CORN
Of miles and miles
And--Country--M-I-L-E-S
In
Southern Minnesota
Acre to Acre
Was at
About
THREE--FEET
Sprouting
CORN
HIGH
And Growing Kinda
CORN
SHY

But NOW
In Early
AUGUST
The CORN is FULL
GROWN, ELITE
And
C--O--M--P--L--E--T--E
With the tip TOP CORN Stalk
TASSLE
R--E--A--C--H--I--N--G
Close to
TWELVE
Corn
FEET
High, without CORN--SHY
And reaching for the
Beautiful
Minnesota
August Blue
SKY

In a SUMMERS
Minnesota
G--R--O--W--I--N--G
SEASON

It is JUST, so
AMAZING
How the CORN
BURST
With
G-R-O-W-I-N-G
G--R--O--W--N--G
G---R---O---W---I---N---G
P
O
W
E
R
Of three FEET
In--early--JUNE
To
TWELVE
FEET
GREAT-CORN
HIGH
And AUGUST, Proud CORN--TALL
GROWN
DONE

Here in Minnesota
With the Rains and
Humidity
And
SHINE

EVERYTHING
SPROUTS
And
BLOOMS
A
MIGHTY
TALL
STRONG
BOLD
And
M
I
N
N
E
S
O
T
A
FINE
In the
SUMMER
Growing
TIME
