(That time of year again, part one)

I'll never leave the room
Where you lay dead..

I'll never leave the room
Where for the last time
I touched the soft red fuzz
On your tiny beautiful head...

I'll never leave the room
Where I cried over you in heaving sobs..

I'll never leave that room
Where as your mom
I was fired from the job.

I'll never leave the room
Where i sang to you
"You Are My Sunshine"
For the very last time..

I'll never leave that room
Where for you there was no longer a breath
From your sweet cold lips
I could find.

I'll never leave that room
Even though They've taken your body away..

(And)

I'll never leave that room..

That's my everlasting jail cell
7,705 days ago
Today.

My unending love to my beloved Darion Jordan Delorey
May you always rest in peace..Love, Mommy
