Behold the day is near, Burning like a furnace; Evildoers will fear, For all their vulgarness.
The arrogant stumble, When God sets them ablaze; Burnt to a stubble, Wrath for the one who strays.
For you who fear His name, The sun of righteousness; The Lord will shed no blame, Wings shield from wickedness.
You shall go out like deer, Prancing out in the field; As righteously sincere, Abundant blessings yield.
You shall tread down evil, As ash under your feet; Henchmen of the devil, Filled with all their deceit.
On the day God will act, On those who know the Law; He will be quick to act, Cleansing of any flaw.
Remember His Commands, All the statutes and rules; From Moses that demands, You not become such fools.
A prophet God will send, Before the awesome day; Prophesy of the end, To those who disobey.
A great day for the Lord, That will expose the heart; Of those who have ignored, For they will soon depart.
He will come smite the earth, Decree a spoken curse; The righteous with new birth,
Whose life did not perverse. Vote for this poem
