If there is encouragement, Any comfort from the love; Through the Spirit not lament, Because of joy from above.
Having humility in Christ, Will bring to you empathy; For what you have been enticed, Through fondness and sympathy.
Fill your joy of the same mind, The same love in full accord; For being humble and kind, With the mindset of the Lord.
Have no selfish ambition, For yourself having conceit; Nor of any obsession, Causes a lustful deceit.
Look not only to your own, But interest of others; Doing what God would condone, About serving your brothers.
Let this mind be within you, Which as well in Jesus Christ; Always keep to His Word true, Let not yourself be enticed.
Although in the form of God, He did not count as equal; But living here was not flawed, Always peaceful and tranquil.
By taking a servant form, And born of our likeness; He went on His daily norm, Not having obliqueness.
For in the fashion of man, He was humbled to obey; To fit with God and His plan, Through His death He did not stray.
For every knee shall bow, And every tongue confess; When judgment will show them how,
Their pleasures made them transgress. Vote for this poem
