Yes, I will rejoice for I know,
Because going through our prayers;
Letting the Holy Spirit flow,
Deep within for blessings He shares.
For my eager expectation,
And hoping not to be ashamed;
But courage in explanation,
With all of which I have proclaimed.
Let my body will honor Christ,
Whether it is by death or life;
Never in becoming enticed,
From earthly pleasures bringing strife.
For to me to live is in Christ,
And as by dying is to gain;
Through all that has been sacrificed,
And that will be easing the pain.
For in the flesh I am to live,
With the means of fruitful labor;
Knowing that the Lord will forgive,
All because He is my Savior.
Yet which I choose I cannot tell,
Being hard pressed of between two;
For the desires where I dwell,
To depart from what I construe.
Being with Christ is for the best,
But in the flesh, I still remain;
Knowing that God will help my quest,
For progressing of His campaign.
For I am convinced, and I know,
That I remain and continue;
For the joy in the faith will flow,
In knowing of all that is true.
So that in me is ample cause,
For the glory of Jesus Christ;
Sends His Spirit to cleanse my flaws,
That were caused from being enticed.
