When Darkness Falls

 

When darkness falls upon
hearts treasured garden
seldom does it sing
without twinkling of
the stars..

Magic of youth flies
like a butterfly in his
last days of life, when
all beauty says farewell.

When darkness falls
in sweetness, we settle
into peaceful sleep, till
morning light.

Surrendering our taste
in midnight bliss, darkness
guides us back to our first
midnight kiss.

Like a rose untouched
we search the fountain
of youth bringing back
memories where dreams
made our realities.

Life's endless questions
have no answers, we find
love through heartless
treasures, flying by like
a whisper in the wind..

Dreams and rainbows
come along life's way
teasing leaving without
a sound, waiting till
another appears dressed
in golden divinity.
