Bless be the Father of the Lord, Granting His great mercy and grace; And that He is loved and adored, As He returns with His embrace.
He caused us to be born again, For He has given a living hope; Through resurrection had passed then, From suffering Christ had to cope.
For an inheritance in Heaven, As undefiled and unfading; A gift from God that is given, Of a joy that is elating.
By the power of God guarded, Through faith for a salvation; For it cannot be discarded, Revealing your new creation.
Because of this you can rejoice, Although for a little while; You grieve crying out with your voice, As you grieve throughout each trial.
Genuineness of faith is tested, For it is more precious than gold; And that it is not infected, By temptations that might unfold.
Praise and glory may be found, Honor for the revelation; When in hearing the trumpet sound, Through Christ given your salvation.
Though you may not have ever seen, But you have believed what is heard; As in history what has been, And documented in the Word.
The outcome of faith you obtain, And the salvation of your soul; Allows of your faith to retain, The Holy Spirit to control.
Since the prophets had prophesied, Searched and inquired of grace; Foretold about the crucified, Ascending to the Holy place.
It was revealed through the Gospel, The Holy Spirit was sent down; Spreading the news to the people,
Jesus now wears the holy crown. Vote for this poem
