Praise the Father of our Lord,

Honor unto the triune God;

Because He is loved and adored,

As we are worshipping to laud.

The Father of mercy and grace,

And our God who gives comfort;

Willing and ready to embrace,

The good works in our effort.

He comforts from the affliction,

So that we may comfort others;

Giving them needed affection,

For our sisters and brothers.

Through the comfort that we receive,

Overflowing from our God;

Because we truly do believe,

Of the curing those who are flawed.

Cleansing where flawed through forgiveness,

Because of sufferings through Christ;

Supporting them as they confess,

Of iniquities that enticed.

For the comfort of salvation,

Comfort for times that we suffer;

Giving us a new foundation,

Through Jesus Christ who will buffer.

Experience the endurance,

Suffering through the affliction;

Steering us to obedience,

Because of loving affection.

This makes us to stand firm in hope,

For the sufferings that we share;

And enabled for us to cope,

With someone else willing to care.

He has delivered us from death,

Through the comfort He does embrace;

Giving new hope through a new breath,

Coming from His mercy and grace.

Comfort is coming through your prayers,

Then give Him thanks from the relief;

As a part of the gift that God shares,

Allowing you to build belief.
