Walking The Road to Eternity
I walk the road to eternity,
from the life that gives me
strength, a life so full of
miracles, it has to be eternity..
I shine along with the sparkling
stars, I walk along with the sun
on my back, I swim in the waters
of life, to watch her unfold..
I dream of freedom, that makes
the bells ring with glory, while
down the road to eternity
I see the shining light..
I think of days when life
was hard, when man needed
God to help them out, but no
words were ever spoken in holy
prayer.
I now walk the road to eternity
with love, respect, compassion,
and deep understanding in
my heart..
I have learned many a lesson
now ready for another, harder
task in another place, another
time..
I have loved every minute of living
listening to the songs of glorified
praise, to Our Heavenly Father up
above..
