There will be no gloom for you, Those who have been in anguish; As long as you will construe, Not letting yourself languish.
In past times you had contempt, But later a splendid day; You changed having an attempt, No more desire to stray.
For those who walked in the dark, Finally saw a great light; Who had dwelt had to embark, Where the light had shone so bright.
God multiplied the nation, For increasing of its joy; Giving us celebration, With having hope to employ.
Rejoice before you do sleep, While seeing the bright star; Because the joy that you reap, Brings you the hope from afar.
For the burden of your yoke, Resting upon your shoulders; Appearing angels that spoke, Of faith for the beholders.
The rod of the oppressor, Has been broken on that day; Strikes fear in the aggressor, That will try to make you stray.
Each boot of the warrior, With victory in battle; Show they are superior, Hears the flames that do brattle.
For us a child is born, To us a Son is given; A Mighty God to sojourn, Given to us from Heaven.
The wonderful Prince of Peace, His government with no end; Reigning that will never cease, Not just God but our friend.
The Lord of Hosts uses zeal, Bringing judgment on the earth; Making each of us to kneel,
Confessing for a new birth. Vote for this poem
