The Mighty One, God our Lord, Speaks and summons upon the earth; For being worshipped and adored, As the new day has brought new birth.
From the rising to the setting, As the sun is shining so bright; We tend to be so forgetting, Of our God being pure light.
Our God shall not keep silence, Before Him fire devours; From the turmoil and violence, That has eaten up the hours.
He calls on Heaven up above, That He may judge those of this place; For despicable acts thereof, Making here a complete disgrace.
Gather up all the faithful ones, Who is keeping His covenant; Not to be with someone that shuns, That God regards incompetent.
Hear O people for God will speak, Against you He will testify; He already knows what you seek, And no way that you can deny.
Your sacrifices He lambasts, Sincerity not in your prayer; For only your fate it forecasts, Total garbage is what you share.
He will not accept from your house, Of the sheep and goats from your fold; Because you cheated on your spouse, And so that is why He must scold.
All are His of the birds and beast, Through the wilderness and the fields; Sets on your table for the feast, And from the harvest from what yields.
Giving of thanks for what you got, As well as praying of trouble; Glorify with what you have sought,
He will rescue you from rubble. Vote for this poem
