Tiny Hands
Tiny hand around my finger
Though you sleep, still
I linger
I hold you close and realize
From Gods' own hand
You were placed in mine
What my heart feels is so
Divine, your precious baby
Hand in mine
Undeserving as I am, yet
God did entrust me, with
This lamb
Soft baby breath against my cheek
Eyelashes flutter, I've no words
To speak
Across your little face, comes a grin
Leaves no doubt where you have been
Heaven is, where you began
Fresh from the face of Almighty
God, of His great love you
Did evolve.
