Lord, listen to a just cause, Pay attention to my cry; Erasing all of my flaws, That is causing my to sigh.
Listen to me as I pray, From my lips free of deceit; I do promise to obey, No longer having conceit.
From You give vindication, Because you see what is right; While giving salvation, So that I may see the light.
For You have tested my heart, You examined me at night; Found the evil did depart, Turning my darkness to light.
So, unto you I confess, That I need the discipline; No longer shall I transgress, Or committing any sin.
Concerning what people do, That from the Word of Your lips; I always tried to be true, Avoid violence that trips.
My steps are now on Your path, My feet will no longer slip; If You spare me from Your wrath, So that I will never trip.
I call upon You my God, And listen to what I say; I will give honor and laud, While I trust and obey.
Display wonders of Your love, Shower upon me with Your grace; For I seek refuge thereof, Within You as my safe place.
A refuge in my Savior, From those who rise up against; Because of their behavior, Causing me to become tensed.
Hide me deep under Your wing, From evil that threatens me; With a solace that will bring,
Blinds so that they cannot see. Vote for this poem
