Keep the Sage

The wind was dancing free
Beneath the limbs of the maple tree
Undressed and waiting for a snow
winter frost begins to grow
A cloak of frozen dust comes alive in nature's crust
In one relentless thrust brings forth a melody so robust
Life is open to many things when Mother Earth softly sings
The frozen gems of ice are worthless yet; the icy treasures still entice
It was long ago when weeping winds shed their tears in Autumn's rains
There is a silent whisper that disembarks when souls of mystery softly talk
So in a moment's whim, before the sun begins to dim many thoughts begin to swim
When time and space reveals its mate the heart of seasons except their fate
Mankind must keep their sage when Old Man Winter throws his rage
