Give thanks to God because His deeds,
Are awesome and amazing;
Catering to all my needs,
Worthy of our praising.
My bones were never hidden,
When I was made in the womb;
Sees what I do forbidden,
Knows when to lie in my tomb.
He sees all my days ordained,
Written in His book of life;
When I having been disdained,
When I endured all the strife.
How awkward it is for me,
How precious upon His thoughts;
Limited to what I see,
Because of all the onslaughts.
How vast is their total sum,
If I tried to count them all;
Mind boggling making me numb,
Dizziness that makes me fall.
More than all the grains of sand,
Even if I could finish;
They stretch farther than this land,
Still they would not diminish.
If only God killed evil,
Avoiding violent men;
Allowing not the devil,
Trying to tempt me again.
They rebel against the Lord,
Enemies lie with deceit;
His commandments are ignored,
Whenever they steal and cheat.
God hates not those who do hate,
Those who oppose to despise;
Come Judgment they seal their fate,
As death will surely chastise.
For God examines your mind,
Probes your thoughts and your concerns;
Straying that you are inclined,
Blasphemous ways that governs.
