Mary's Explosion

I still remember the love explosion.
The temptation, the want, and it's slow erosion.

So river winding, making and carving it's permanent way.
For life itself, the expansion, is anothers decay.

So eat at my heart, the earth a drop in a vacuum of mystery.
For what our way, before that day you kissed me.

So salvation sweet Mary, why is there still pain?
For smashed, scattered, then re-glued again.

The panel beater needs to be beaten.
It seemed the more I consumed sin, the more I sweetened.

To look back in bitterness, of how wrong and blind.
Magoo lead the way, time after time.

So lets go for a bash, and join my club.
For hearts and spades needed, for my grave to be dug.

So sweet Mary Jane, the love, the comfort in a hard time.
For love is what it was, I know it's a deadly crime.
