CELESTIAL ETERNITY

He Gave Mankind A Second Chance

He Gave Mankind A Second Chance
Author: Mark V. Markov

When evil nature came into the world
After the taste of the knowledge of good and evil
After the fall
The fallen nature with the influence of satan
Over time Mankind became so evil
That only constant murder of life abounded

So much that God was grieved in His heart
That He created Man
So He sent a flood on Mankind
But Noah found grace in His eyes
So He saved Noah and his family
In the big vessel
Called Noah's ark

He gave Mankind a second chance
When He sacrificed His only Begotten Son
The Lord Jesus Christ
To die for us
And be raised from the dead
To give us a new nature
Through Him.
He also sent the Holy Spirit
To be our Comforter, Helper and Guide

His instruction
His promise now motivates
Those that believe
To be good in life
To the best of their ability

To honor your father and your mother
To not commit murder
To not commit adultery.
To not steal.
To not bear false witness against your neighbor
To not covet your neighbor's house
To love God with all your heart, soul, and mind
And love your neighbor as yourself

God's promise
God's instruction
God's word gives life
To the believers

And someday
He will take every tear away
And fill the believing hearts
With joy and happiness.
Those that believe in Him
Through Jesus Christ

Will always be happy
In the new recreated heaven
And new recreated earth
With God being with us always
With His glory giving us everlasting light...

The Great Commandment

Matthew 22:36-40 (ESV)

36 "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?"
37 And he said to him,
"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.
38 This is the great and first commandment.
39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets."

Mark 12:30-31 (ESV)

30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.
31 The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'
There is no other commandment greater than these."

Noah and the Flood

Genesis 6:5-14 ESV

5 The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth,

and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6 And the Lord regretted that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart.

7 So the Lord said, "I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land,

man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens, for I am sorry that I have made them."

8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.

9 These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man,

blameless in his generation. Noah walked with God.

10 And Noah had three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

11 Now the earth was corrupt in God's sight, and the earth was filled with violence.

12 And God saw the earth, and behold, it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.

13 And God said to Noah, "I have determined to make an end of all flesh, for the earth is filled with violence through them.

Behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

14 Make yourself an ark of gopher wood. Make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and out with pitch.

Genesis 6:17-19 ESV

17 For behold, I will bring a flood of waters upon the earth to destroy all flesh in which is the breath of life under heaven.

Everything that is on the earth shall die.

18 But I will establish my covenant with you,

and you shall come into the ark, you, your sons, your wife, and your sons' wives with you.

19 And of every living thing of all flesh, you shall bring two of every sort into the ark to keep them alive with you.

They shall be male and female.

Genesis 6:22 ESV

22 Noah did this; he did all that God commanded him.
