TWILIGHT ZONE: A STIRRED SILENCE

poetrypic3-3

The eyes looking far beyond
the greens
and everything—
painted gold

By the dashing twilight.
A stirred silence
defying the symphony
of crickets

Mounting a rendezvous for
wounded souls.
Where are the memories
too real—

Untouched by the frail
gestures of time,
the unguarded tears
in great fear

of losing them.
Alone.
