Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

We must pay attention,

To all that we have heard;

It is my intention,

Not to drift from the Word.

Any time that we slip,

If the it is spoken;

As it comes from my lip,

It must be unbroken.

For when the angels spoke,

As legally binding;

Punishment for laws broke,

Judgment on the finding.

Every transgression,

And disobedience;

God uses discretion,

For a penal offense.

How are we to escape,

Neglecting salvation;

We will be in good shape,

To lose the foundation.

As spoken by the Lord,

Confirmed by those who heard;

To be in one accord,

Abiding by the Word.

God testified by signs,

Wonders for all to see;

Showing Jesus aligns,

Merely how we should be.

Distribution of gifts,

From the Holy Spirit;

For His will to uplift,

Motivate on merit.

What you remember Him,

Being the Son of man;

As lowly but not grim,

For setting out a plan.

With glory and honor,

We crowned Him as the Lord;

And still as a fawner,

To be loved and adored.

Lower that the angels,

For merely a short time;

Never as their equals,

Never did any crime.
