Fires, Famines, And Wars
Be humble and contrite in spirit
And tremble at the Word of God;
For the battles in life
Are the paths which we trod.
Sufferings and devastations
Will occur upon the land;
Fighting Nation upon Nation
And the wars of man.
Stand firm in God's Word
Know that he will deliver thee;
When all has passed away
He will deliver you and me!
Famines, fires, and wars
Will all come to pass;
The torture to men
Will soon be the last.
Know that God is with you
This is what has to be;
But when the time comes
With God, we will be free!
