I heard of your faith in the Lord,
And your love towards all of the saints;
How you remain in one accord,
Never having any complaints.
For the Word of truth that you trust,
As the Gospel your salvation;
Avoiding temptation from lust,
Giving a righteous foundation.
Because of what you inherit,
For redemption that was purchased;
Being much more that your merit,
Of any dreams that you had chased.
I cease not on the thanks I give,
Remembering you in my prayers;
For each hour and day, I live,
About our worries and cares.
That the Father of our Lord,
Being the Father of glory;
For it can never be ignored,
Of Jesus Christ and His story.
It gives the Spirit of wisdom,
Knowledge of the revelation;
So, we can enter His Kingdom,
For the triumph celebration.
The eyes of your heart enlighten,
That you may know of what is hope;
Helping to make your life brighten,
Through the tribulations that you cope.
What are the riches that await,
The power toward you to believe;
That is immeasurably great,
An inheritance you receive.
For the working of His great might,
That He has worked in Jesus Christ;
Was raised up for seeing the light,
On the cross to be sacrificed.
Far above all authority,
Ruling power and dominion;
To make it a priority,
For bonding in a new union.
Christ being the head of the church,
Putting all things under His feet;
Which puts an end to our search,
Being as one body complete.
