What If?
What if I were a teen who
Wanted to do what is right,
What if I were a teen who
Says no whenever tempted,
What if I were a teen who
Continues to learn and what if
I were a teen who desires to
Make a difference,
What if I were a teen who
Wanted to submit to authority
To lighten their loads and
Make it easier on them,
What if I were a teen who
Wanted to be Christlike and
Do good wherever and whenever
Possible,
What if I were a teen,
What if I were a teenager who
Wanted to break negative cycles
And dispel the stereotypes,
And what if society tried to
Trust and understand them
More?
