Art is a gift and art is a talent
that takes on many forms,
There's the art of poetry, which
can help us and inspire us ---
There is the art of fiction,
That can teach lessons and
give advice to those who we
Want to guide and mentor ---
There is the art of nonfiction,
That can inform and inspire
As well as encourage and lift
Up Him and Humankind ---
There is the art of drawing,
Painting, photography and other
Aesthetics,
There is the art of baking and
Other forms of cooking,
There is the art of cosmetics
and other forms of creativity,
There is the art of communication
That can build trust in
Relationships and understanding
In friendships,
Art is a gift from the Creator
And a talent from Him that takes
On many forms in the world of
work,
Art is a gift and a talent that
can make a difference in society
at large by promoting peace,
joy and goodwill ---
Art is a gift and atalent that can be used
to contribute to the Church
And the community as a whole.
