What am I? Can you figure it out
I cut from both ends;
i'm sharper than a box cutter
you can't touch me,
you can't see me with your eyes or other wise,
i come in all shapes and size;
sometimes i might even wear a disguise
and attempt to hide;
i can cause death
and i can bring forth life;
both ends are sharp enough to split hairs;
when i approach you are advised to be well prepared;
i'm a trickster character,
you might believe you found me without a scar or knick;
but when the truth is exposed
one end freezes cold
while the other burns your soul
like the sun's core
from both ends i cut;
deep into the emotions of your spirit;
taking a toll for everything you've done wrong;
when i'm in your left breast
you feel at ease with no stress;
but when i'm out you can't eat,
sleep,
or think;
trapped inside because you don't want to bleed,
so you compromise and concede
both sides can slice and dice a man's pride;
i gather strength from family and friends;
i'm the ying and the yang,
the zig and the zag,
if you balance yourself in the middle of the two
you might experience me without a blemish or a bruise,
but if you cross me wrong
you'll bleed pain for years to come;
but if you stay true
then one glorious day you'll wake with all the answers to my clues
what am i?
