'' Do Let Your Talent Shine Through ''
Whatever we write,
It will cause a fight,
Regardless of the subject matter,
Humans take delight,
In what we recite,
In truth some are mad as a hatter.
They live to detest,
To get others stressed,
To them it's their way of living,
With critique they're blessed,
Your words they'll digest,
Their aim to be so unforgiving.
They like to hurt,
By being curt,
But only if you take the bait,
The venom some blurt,
Comes from the dirt,
In reality they do live to hate.
Experts, they believe,
They live to deceive,
Their opinion is but one impression,
The deception they weave,
Is what they perceive,
Their ideals are based on oppression.
Remain in control,
Stay on a roll,
To the majority your work is exciting,
To the bully or troll,
Don't sell your soul,
The cure is, don't ever stop writing.
The next time they start,
Don't take it to heart,
That's exactly what they're trying to do,
Don't fall apart,
Remember you're smart,
