Bless the man who is disciplined,
And who has been taught of the Law;
Because no longer has he sinned,
No longer does he have a flaw.
Give him rest from days of trouble,
Till the pit is dug for the wrong;
God had pulled me from the rubble,
Rescued whence I did not belong.
For the Lord will never forsake,
Not abandon His heritage;
While He remains wide awake,
For the latent of a vestige.
Justice will come to the righteous,
All the upright in heart follow;
That they always remain conscious,
Of those having hearts as hollow.
Who rises against the wicked,
Who stand against evildoers;
That have constantly afflicted,
The tenderhearted pursuers.
If the Lord had not assisted,
I would have lived in such silence;
As my soul would have existed,
Living in chaotic violence.
When my foot slips, He held me up,
Because of His unswerving love;
Provides nourishment in my cup,
That flows down from Heaven above.
When cares are many in my heart,
His solacement will cheer my soul;
Providing means for to impart,
Enables me to meet my goal.
The Lord has become my stronghold,
As a fortress for my refuge;
Giving me the warmth in the cold,
A shelter during a deluge.
He will bring judgment upon them,
Because of their iniquity;
For wickedness He will condemn,
Because of their audacity.
