Gentle Song of Spring
Sunshine on a fading winter's day.
Light through my window speaks of Springs array.
Let Spring appear in its slow pace when flowers
Show their season's grace.
Rains and rainbows cast their streams in sunbeams
Warming light, when winter fades into the night, the
Light of daffodils fills the sight, with the warmth of their delight.
Bring the warmth, bring the grass so green.
I pray please bring the gentle song of Spring.
Send winter far away, and let the Spring come out and play.
